Tim Conte
Artist Bio
Tim's work has been shown in various galleries in Chicago, Illinois; Bloomington, Indiana; Philadelphia, and Coastal Maine. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Indiana University; and is a recent graduate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts' Master's Degree program. Tim earned several awards of distinction at each institution, including: an Honor's Society grant for excellence in the Fine Arts, the Pygmalion's award, as well as Academy Fellowship awards both years in the M.F.A. program. He has taught Drawing and/or Painting at the Community College of Philadelphia, Camden County College, and as assistant instructor at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Tim was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1977; has lived in Bloomington, Indiana; spent two separate artist's residences in central Italy; and currently resides in Philadelphia.
